Hair salon

For those very particular about their hair, I'd say go elsewhere. Had my hair cut and had to cut it myself when I got home because it was uneven. I asked for layers and got basically one length. I havent been here since I was a kid, and now I know why. Worst blow dry, hair was still wet and and frizzy and paid more than I do elsewhere. I'm generously giving 3 stars because my daughter's turned out alright for a basic cut. Not coming back.

Rachel is amazing, needed hair removal and got an exceptional service! She is kind professional and friendly, knowledgeable and understanding. I don't throw around 5 star reviews for nothing. Rachel is the best! Thank you I really felt uncomfortable at first but I'm happy I chose Rachel.

Had the same barber twice now and he’s really good at cutting curly hair. Would recommend

After having a poor experience with extensions Hope Charanek came to my rescue in fixing them and now they feel amazing! All the ladies at Painted Pretty are extremely professional and experienced.

I had an excellent experience when getting my hair done at Studio H. From the vanilla chai tea I was offered, to the extremely knowledgable hair dressers (I was taken care of by Heather W), to the outcome of my colouring. My hair was very brassy and unhealthy, Heather was able to bring life back to my hair while still achieving the light blonde colour I wanted. Would definitely recommend!

I live in North Burnaby, and I took the BUS over 2 hours to get to this salon on a Saturday and needless to say, I was NOT disappointed! Clarissa listened to me, and to my hair needs. I have naturally curly hair and I had a vision for what I wanted in my last haircut, and she exceeded my expectations! Clarissa is a highly skilled and educated hair stylist. Her experience is top notch! Anyone who goes to see her and gets their hair done by her will not be disappointed at all! Plus, her scalp massage is out of this world. I highly recommend Clarissa to anyone out there looking for a great haircut. Keep up the great work Clarissa and I will see you at my next appointment! (Hopefully I get to borrow the car for that one! LOL! ) :)

Lulu is such a sweetheart. I told her my son gets major meltdowns and it gets impossible to cut his hair once he starts crying. She told us not to worry and I was so surprised my Son left the salon with a BIG smile. She is amazing with kids. Will def recommend.
